Our purpose is really twofold,
first to promote outlying landowner awareness
of the fact that you can, with reasonable effort, dramatically
alter both the intensity and the impact of a wildfire on your property.

And secondly, to promote awareness of atmospheric changes that
seem very likely to increase the probability of wind becoming a factor during
a wildfire event, wind being the primary culprit behind the recent trouble in California.

The reason I'm aware of this is because I am an avid pilot of the world's lightest aircraft, and
have, over the past two years, noticed a persistent increase in wind & turbulence aloft, cause unknown.

Call me a fear monger if you must, but if I succeed in motivating you to take a look at your surroundings,
and you become prompted to take some reasonable responsible action, then I'm pretty happy even so.  Cheers!
